A newly purchased slave, especially a "body slave" or "pleasure slave," is likely to have certain ideas about how he should approach his new owner.  Namely, he expects to be fondled, nuzzled, and otherwise pressed into sexual service.  And if his new owner shows no inclination to do so, the newly purchased slave may take matters into his own hands, whether by taking off all his clothes and getting into his master's bed with his legs spread, or by tentatively nuzzling his master in the neck when they're having a nice friendly sit-down together.

The owner's reaction to this will vary depending on his reasons for not having jumped the slave before, but by far the most common reaction is that he doesn't want sexual service offered out of fear or obligation or even gratitude; he only wants the slave if the slave genuinely wants him back, and even then, he's going to be very skeptical about whether the slave actually wants him or Only Thinks He Does.   In other words, Don't Nuzzle Me Unless You Mean It.

The slave is likely to be very confused and weirded out by this, and maybe even argue a bit; you almost never see a reaction of uncomplicated relief.  (Though that would be cool.)  If the slave IS relieved at the idea, he's also very skeptical that the owner is telling the truth, and wonders what kind of game he's playing.

Almost always leads, by the end of the fic, to scenes where they are nuzzling and both really, really mean it.
